There are many designs of alcohol stove. Some are extremely tiny, some are extremely durable, some have a unique property that sets them apart from all the rest. The Zelph Stoveworks SS Starlyte Ultralyte stove finds its niche amongst these stoves with its well-rounded functionality, ease of use, spill-proof design, and integrated pot stand.
This very small alcohol stove is built with a steel mesh top opening which allows for easy filling with fuel. Inside the stove is a fiberglas insulation core. The fiberglas soaks up the fuel so that if the stove is tipped over the fuel will not spill across the floor of a shelter, the ground, or worse - your tent.
The SS Starlyte Ultralyte stands apart from many pop-can type alcohol stoves that are often constructed using rudimentary means. This stove was designed, prototyped, changed, and re-designed a number of times by a stove craftsman with a good reputation for quality. This craftsmanship is visible in the clean lines and welds on the Starlyte.
