This stove is perfect for windy conditions! Its independent base allows you to use a windscreen and it is more stable since it's not on the canister. This stove is built with a copper alloy and and stainless steel frame so it can take a beating. The variable angle support legs provide a stable base for larger pots and folds for compact storage. Cone shaped burner head focuses thermal power at the bottom of pot and prevents extinguishing from winds.

Can this stove be used with inverted canister?
Certainly. It has a liquid preheater tube and valve design makes this convenient.

Is the burn adjustable....can it simmer?
Yes. You turn the valve located at the canister end.

Do the legs "lock" in a detent, to prevent "walking" closed with kettle movement?
Certainly.

What is the time to boil 2 cups of water?
No boil time was quoted by manufacturer. But generally:
3W = 4.3min
boil times (per litre, or roughly per quart)

Looks pretty much like a MSR Windpro refitted with a smaller burner and corresponding reconfigured preheating tube for a savings of 40g.

A caution is in order about this stove. It does not have a preheat tube and cannot be used with an inverted canister. Attempting to invert the canister would result in a fire ball. Do not do this!
