Nunatak Akula HalfBag/Med/Blue/14oz-$200
Side View Of Bag
I purchased this bag for $279 with the .85oz rip-stop nylon that is no longer offered. I removed the tags and exchanged the drawcord and attatched toggle for Aircore 1 and a smaller toggle. Other than this, no other mods have been made and the bag is in almost new condition. It has only been used for a few nights in A.T. shelters.

With a weight of 14 oz, does this have any overfill? Medium is spec'd as 12 oz, and Nuna is pretty good with thier weights.

The bag is 14oz. I did not get overfill. If their is extra down inside, then that would be news to me/mistake on their part. The website says 12oz and I can only think of two possible ways this could happen. Either overfilled by accident or wrong weight on website(aka-varies far too widely from bag to bag). Other than this slight difference in weight I have found this to be a very good, lightweight half bag. With a down parka I have taken it to 10 degrees comfortably.

Thanks for the info Johnathan. Hold tight, I may still take it. I just need to get out my parka and make sure the medium would fit well. I'm about 6'3" tall, and my parka is cut short...I'll try it out in the next couple of days.
