White Box StovesTM is an original design and one of the most innovative alcohol stoves to come along in years. It is made entirely from recycled aluminum bottles and uses a “Cope Roll”TM to seal the inner and outer walls together. Most other aluminum bottle stoves use rivets to hold the walls together but the sealed roll on this stove makes the top edge a lot stronger and less likely to bend or dent. The roll also seals the stove so there is no air leakage between the two walls, which can cause an erratic flame pattern.

This stove is made to be used by multiple people and has the capability to boil up to 8 cups of water and will burn for up to 20 minutes on one fill of fuel. The stove is designed for use with wider diameter cook pots to get the full benefit of the wide flame pattern. Pots with diameters of 5 inches or wider are recommended.

One of the things that sets the Whitebox Stove apart from many alcohol stoves is its durability. The grade of the aluminum used for building the stoves, although from a recycled source is a heavy gauge which will withstand much more pressure from both above as well as side to side than most 'can stoves' on the market. This durability has value to a backpacker because the stove doesn't need to be stored in a protective place in a backpack but can be tossed in anywhere it will fit with little to no worry about the stove collapsing. Also, although unlikely with most any stove the weight of the pot will not crush the stove either.

The stove combo comes nicely packaged and includes a stove, windscreen, heat shield that can double as a primer plate and printed instructions.
