Overview

T's Side B Alcohol Stove is a finely handcrafted, lightweight, and durable piece of equipment. The stove itself is constructed of a quality gauge metal bottle which, although lightweight, retains its resistance to crushing. Delightfully minimal, the one-piece design consists of little more than a stove body with a series jet holes along its perimeter. The stove body is rigid and will support your small cookpot, eliminating the need for a pot stand. For the price of one expensive white gas stove, a backpacker could outfit themselves with multiple alcohol stoves, each of which serve a specific purpose. Instructions

Add fuel to stove, filling to desired fill-line. The lower indicates 10 cc (.33 fl oz) and the higher indicates 20 cc (.66 fl oz).
Ignite with a match, lighter, or other method.

To begin, you may see an unstable flame. However, as the fuel warms, the flame will become larger and more stable in appearance. At this point, place your pot atop the stove and notice that blue flame will appear from the jet holes on the side. If you are rushed, place your pot atop the stove immediately. The fuel will burn inside the stove for 30 to 60 seconds and then flame will appear from the jets. You may also pre-heat the stove by applying a few small drops of fuel around the outside of the stove, lighting them and letting the open flame warm the stove. Use caution with this method and only practice it on a durable surface.

Precautions

Use alcohol fuel only (no gasoline, kerosene, or other fuels).
Avoid wildfire by clearing the surroundings when you use the stove.
Allow stove to cool before packing away.
Do not add fuel while stove is lit.
Use caution to not apply direct flame to windscreen, as it can burn.
