Overview

The SpinSack Ultralight Stuff Sack is an ultralight stuff sack made with silicone-nylon impregnated, high performance sailcloth. This is the same material used in SpinTarp Ultralight Backpacking Tarps

Suggested Uses

The Size Small SpinSack is a perfect fit for the Cocoon Pullover.

We suggest that the SpinSack Ultralight Stuff Sack be used for soft goods - sleeping bags, bivy sacks, clothing, etc. For hard goods with sharp edges, we recommend stuff sacks made with heavier fabrics. As with any soft goods 'stuffing', do not overstuff the stuff sacks. Not only do you stress the seams of the stuff sack unnecessarily (which increases the likelihood of water penetrating the seams), but you risk damaging the insulation of your soft goods (especially if they are made with synthetic high-loft insulation).

The Small size is suitable for storing up to 12 to 16 ounces of soft goods, and is an ideal size for a lightweight down or synthetic jacket, spare clothing you want to keep readily accessible during the day (such as gloves, hat, and a windshirt), or a spare pair of "dry clothes" for wintertime sleeping (such as socks and long underwear top/bottoms). The light weight of these stuff sacks gives you the flexibility to pack smart and organize and distribute your load for the best packability, rather than just packing everything into one big bag, which can be inconvenient and difficult to pack around the hard goods in your pack.

If desired, drawcord and toggle are replaceable with larger sizes for butterfingers and mitten users.

The SpinSack closure consists of AirCore 2 Spectra Accessory cord and a mini-cordlock, both replaceable with heavier options for butterfingered hikers.

The bottom of the SpinSack is sewn square for maximum volume and a small pull tab is provided to make removing contents easier.
