The Fire-fly is a real lightweight stove made by mo-go-gear and sold by Gossamer Gear. The whole kit weighs 1.5 ounces and includes the burner, pot stand, windscreen, and heat reflector.

The open jet burner really works well for one or two people, with a boil time of about 8 minutes and great fuel efficiency.

The windscreen is made of soft temper aluminum, and is easy to unroll and re-roll. Its also adjustable for pot size.

The only drawback is the pot stand. Although innovative, it is a bit heavy, and can be unstable with ridged/indented pots if they are not placed right.

This is my stove of choice. It is efficient and reliable.

I have used this stove in many places and it has never failed me and has always boiled water in optimum times. I have added a Ti pot support from the Ion stove and as a result for me it works and along with the Gossamer Gear R Guard it makes for the ideal stove.

This stove was beautifully made, but unfortunately I believe they are no longer being made. Good boil times and it all packs down to easily fit inside my SUL 500 pot. The pot stand may be a little heavy, but I believe the heavier materials will only prolong the life of the stand and keep the whole system functioning for a very long time to come, I've found the stove that I will use for the future with this one

I've been using the Firefly for two seasons now. It's very fuel efficient, extremely light weight & easy to light. I use the Firefly with the reflector & stand that came with it. I replaced the foil windscreen with a custom cut small BPL Ti windscreen. I use this with my SP 600 Ti mug/foil lid for quick & easy 2 cup boils (Ramen or oatmeal & tea in one boil with .75oz fuel). A Firelite Ti folding spork completes my kitchen. All fit into the mug for a very light, compact 4.3oz kitchen!
