I adore these shirts for hot, wet conditions. They are superlight, very soft, and dry quickly. Not much water is absorbed, even during immersion. Feel free to jump in a lake wearing Techwick! The only flaw is that they get stinky after sweating and need a soap wash to smell fresh again.
Another gripe I've found is that the fabric snags and pulls easily on spiky desert plants.
