I bought this when I was really anti-bladder, and one thing I love about it is the gorgeous flow rate as compared to other bottles I've tried. Its cheap (like $25 bucks) weighs about 4.75 ounces altogether, but the real secret about it, is the replacement filters. The filter weighs about 1.5 ounces, and I believe (not totally sure but pretty sure) that it fits all Nalgene sized wide mouthed bottles, as it fits the two "mushy type" Nalgenes. This means that in the future, I'll be pairing this guy up to a Nalgene 48 oz canteen, or a 4L Dromlite bag, which I think is also a nalgene diameter bag, and have 95% of my possible needs covered in 6.5 ounces of fixed weight.

"but Jon Aquamira is lighter..."
Yes on paper it obviously is, but if anyone has to carry more than 6.5 ounces extra water because of treatment time, I think I would end up getting a lighter set up, and I don't have to go with pure muck out of that shallow water hole...

Price comparison from GearBuyer: Aquamira Replacement Filter priced at: $14.95
