Had these poles for a few years and they've performed very well. Only had one time when the poles slipped and that was quickly fixed by cleaning the poles. These titanium poles are fairly light (15.6 oz./pair) as adjustable poles go, but they can't beat carbon fiber or any fixed length poles. Overall, these poles are light and durable, and I would definitely recommend them.

I've been using these on and off for about a year, and they work great for me. Once in a while I have to tighten the locks, but not often. Hard to beat in a 3-piece non-carbon pole, and about as light as they get.

ive used these poles for 100+mi and have zero complaints other than slippage. If you need a 3 piece use these poles.

At 213 g / 7,5 oz per pole (measured, without trekking basket), the Leki Ultralite Ti are a reasonably lightweight choice when you need adjustable poles that can handle real abuse in the backcountry. Fixed length carbon fiber poles rocks, but come with their own set of limitations. Carrying fixed-length poles attached to the pack is a real hassle when bushwhacking, and carbon fiber shafts does not handle sharp object impacts very well.

The Leki Ultralite Ti poles are three-section poles with foam grips similar in shape to the Kork-O-Lon molded EVA foam grips, although a bit smaller:

These grips are multi-position, allowing for minor length adjustments without a real pole length adjustment:

To quickly change the grip position you should not use the pole straps. However, after a short period of adaptation I never miss the straps, so I ended cutting them (The straps should be literally cut, so you should really be sure to do so)

Being adjustable the poles show some slippage, which is a hassle after getting used to using fixed length poles.

After 2+ years of use, the middle sections of both poles show a crack in the insertion of the locking system:
