Take that possumdown! these are 70% wool, 30% nylon, and an xl weighs in at 2oz. They are a little itchy, not being the highest quality wool out there, but warm and fairly tough. I used to wear them as a liner glove while commercial fishing in alaska, and they hold up well to dunking, and fit well, allowing a fair amount of dexterity. the best part? $3.95 at my local fisheries supply store. I'll carry an extra .4 oz of weight for that kind of economy. Plus they are almost always in stock at army navy stores
