I blissfully trusted BPL's review and bought a pair.
On the plus side, they are undoubtedly strong and possibly the least expensive ultra light trekking poles available.
Have a look at the craftsmanship and decide for yourself if they are the ones for you.






Just for the record, I am not sure how the BPL reviewer was able to report that "The shaft tapers from about 9/16 inch at the grip..." because I set a pair of calipers for 9/16" and placed them on one of my poles as high up as they would go and look how far down from the grip that is. These are 46.5 inch poles (even though I had ordered 45 inch).. My poles measured just over 11/16" at the grip.
