I don't know if Marmot even makes this bag anymore because I haven't seen it in their recent catalogs. Maybe it's because of the name, which first brings to mind a bipolar medication rather than an element (like the Helium and Hydrogen)?

In any case, I love this sleeping bag. It's the only 0 degree bag I've found that's lightweight. And because of the 3/4 zip, it's perfect for winter, though it has made me feel a little claustrophobic and took a bit getting used to. However, being a cold-sleeping woman, it has been perfect in the summer at high altitudes -- it even got me through a 2-day snowstorm in the High Sierra.

Price comparison from GearBuyer: Marmot Hydrogen priced at: $279.20 - $348.95

This is my winter sleepingbag which I have had for about four years now.
It has kept warm down to at least -15C (5F) with nothing on but dry wool socks and a hat.

The bag is quite wide which fits me well so those who are skinny should perhaps consider another bag.
I am 178 cm (5f 10in) and the regular fits me perfectly. If you are any longer than that you should consider the long version or atleast try it on for size.

My favorite thing about this bag is the hood. When you tighten it, it forms a triangle which fits exactly for my nose and mouth so I can breathe freely. The cord on the hood is also placed so when you tighten it you don't get the cord on your nose, but rather two inches of loft that stands directly upwards.

It is great that Marmot has this ba back in their lineup after a few years of absence (I think). This time with a full zipper which in my opinion is unnecessary, but I guess someone likes it.
