I ordered the Crestone Down Hood $79 from Katabatic ( katabaticgear.com). I got a quick confirmation response it had shipped, but somewhere along the way the post office liked it more than they should and the envelope arrived empty, with the usual apology stickers all over it from the United States Postal Service.
I emailed Aaron at Katabatic and explained what happened and asked if anything could be done. He offered immediately to just send me out another one, no additional charge to me.
WOW- great customer service. The hood has arrived and I will have no worries staying toasty this winter in the hammock.

I'm in the process of revising my sleep system and am on the fence between a number of manufacturers. As I live in CO, I took the opportunity to visit Katabatic's shop. Aaron took the time to meet with me and explain everything in his products and let me try them out so I could get a feel for girth, warmth, etc. I really appreciated that one-to-one interaction!
