WM makes very high quality down sleeping bags. The Versalite Super is my winter sleeping bag, mostly used in the sierras when the temperatures are between -10F and 30F. Light and warm sleeping bag with a great hood, the right dimensions for me, and a zipper that doesn't jam. No side baffles so you can shift the down around to control how much insulation is on top. I have always been amazing how quickly WM bags puff up and how I never get cold spots. DWR on the shell is pretty good.

I bought this bag to use on winter trips where it might get down to 0 degF. It has performed flawlessly, is very comfortable for me, and lofts extremely well. I have spent some very cozy nights in frigid temperatures with this bag.

I have used this bag on a number of trips, and have found the following:
Positives - Looks nice, compresses nicely, zippers slide excellent
Negatives - Pertex fabric is cold/clammy when chilly. Pertex fabric is very thin (see through), and retains body oils excessively. This tends to make bag look stained, and smelly with only a few uses. Bag sleeps colder than rating. I had it down many nights into the low 30's and 20's, and bag was very chilly with noticeable cold spots. Weight on my Reg size was 3 oz heavier than advertised.

Summary - I have since purchased a Epic fabric Feathered Friends bag (actually 2 now), and can tell you the FF is superior. My 20 degree bag sleeps warmer than this 10 degree bag, "feels" better, fits better, and to be honest doesn't seem mass-produced like WM has now become.

I know there are tons of rave reviews of WM...I think that is just because they have not slept in a FF yet : )
