Waterproof, Shockproof, Freezeproof and shoots great 16 MP stills while still getting very decent 1080HD video. Camera with battery and SD card weigh a very acceptable 5.5 oz. on my scale. The iSweep Panorama feature allows for some pretty nice instant panoramic photos that don't have to be put together in an editing programs. Touchscreen doesn't love really big hands, and battery usually got about 2-3 days worth of photos and video before needing a recharge. Used it for almost 2,000 miles on my A.T thru hike and slept with it in my sleeping back during the cold weather to preserve battery life. Worked great and never had a single issue. Took good shots and video underwater as well. A great durable all around camera for those that don't want to fuss with a ziplock bag and getting the camera wet.

UPDATE: 3/26/14

I have since continued to use this camera - and it has been on thru-hikes of the the New England Trail, Vermont Long Trail, and the Pacific Crest Trail - giving it well over 5,000 miles of traveling with me. Still going strong - bought some new batteries, and its a champ!

A good camera at a good value.
