The Celia is a women only pack. I bought one last year originally for snowshoeing trips, but found that it works for light packing trips well.
It is a hybrid loader, appearing to be a traditional top loader, but it has a zipper, and allows 50% access to the side. For an afforable $59, it comes in 3 sizes. I wear the small, a torso size of 15-17". The pack weighs in at 2 lbs 12 ounces, and offers 1700 ci. The pack itself is well made. It offers a hip belt, a hip belt pouch, a lip balm pouch on the straps, and 5 pockets of various sizes. It also has a full daisy chain and a stretch cord lacing up the back.It has a hydration area inside and two bottle mesh pockets. The pack comes with a built in pack cover that hides in the bottom. It has more to offer than many other packs, for a decent weight.
I found this summer I could do a weeks trip in it. It did get a bit uncomfortable with 6 days food, as I was hitting the weight limits. I was able to repack and get it more comfortable, using the load lifters, and all the compression straps.
I am sure LLBean never meant it to be a backpacking pack, but it worked well for me. I will use it again next summer. As for now, it is my main long dayhiking pack, and hauls snowshoes without any issues.
If you are female or have someone with a short torso, take a look at the Celia.
