I used Klearwater on my trip this past summer in the Weminuche and was very impressed. It is very foolproof (no mixing) to use as it takes 1ml of Klearwater to purify 1 liter of water. Twice while pouring the Klearwater from the bottle into the measuring spoon it overflowed, so maybe a dropper would be better suited. There is a cholrine odor but no taste. The shelf life is short compared to other products and a lighter bottle would be nice. It comes in a thick glass bottle. Overall, I really like it and will continue to use it.

I really like the Klearwater water treatment. I had always used Aquamira and liked it but having to mix it and wait became somewhat annoying. Klearwater contains the same components while allowing the user to simply add one mL per liter and wait the same amount of time as AM. I never had any ill effects after drinking questionable water. I run the water through a coffee filter to strain out any particulates and let KW do the rest. Easy and convenient!

The only problem that I have with Klearwater is its short shelf life. I am glad that it has a yellow tint to indicate it is still usable. Even when I don't repackage the KW (which I usually do) it only lasts a few weeks. Being repackaged in another smaller bottle and in a pack shortens this even more. If one doesn't mind it getting old and tossing any extra, this is not a problem. I would like to have some more shelf life.

Despite this, I feel that Klearwater is a great advancement in water treatment. I love its simplicity and effectiveness.

Simple, effective and no after taste. I repackaged the Klear Water into BPL's mini droppers for a weekend hike. I enjoy Aquamira but Klearwater allows you to poor directly into your platypus with out waiting 5 minutes for the chemicals to mix. With Klear water you just use a BPL'S mini drop container which mean you leave home another mini dropper and a mixing cup. I saving of 2 less items and less weight is very good. Great product, highly recommended.

I have been using KlearWater for about 3-4 years and I love it. I refrigerate it while not in use and I have never had to throw out a bottle. My favorite feature is the ability to treat a larger quantity of water overnight with a single dose. I use a 6L Water Tank to treat overnight for a group.
