I've tried Ibex, Smartwool, and Icebreaker wool clothing, but the I/O Bio is the lightest and softest. It's probably most comparable to the Ibex Woolies, although the material seems more durable. It's 160g/sq m vs. 150g/sq m, but still only 4oz for a Women's Large. The IceBreaker 200 is of course heavier and a little warmer, too warm in my opinion for summer or mild winter use. Like most women I run a little cold, and so far these Contact Tights are absolutely perfect.

I got these mainly because my summer tights by Medima ripped. The comfort level is comparable, despite the difference in fabric (30% acrylic vs 2%). My boyfriend also bought a Contact Top to replace his ripped Ibex Woolies top and agrees. Bottom line, for the softest, warmest wool for its weight, check out I/O Bio.
