I bought this quilt back in February during Golite's 40% off coupon sale. This was the 1st quilt I've ever purchased or used. I finally got to try it out on my 10 day AT section from Springer Mtn to Winding Stair Gap. Temps ranged from low 30s to low 50s each night with me staying in tents 3 nights and the remainder in AT shelters. My sleeping pad was a Big Agnes Air Core Mummy (non-insulated). On my 1st night with the quilt I wore my base layers, LS tech shirt, pants, a UL down jacket, knit hat and gloves. As the temerature dipped below freezing I was still comfortable and slept well in this quilt. The neck snap made & cinch cord made it a breeze to keep the quilt around and tucked under me. I only had to make small udjustments whenever I rolled over. The quilt was roomy enough that I didn't struggle to keep it tucked even as I'm a pretty big guy (42 inch chest)and a side sleeper also. The foot box worked well. It was warm without being restrictive even with my size 12 feet and thick socks. It compressed well into it's small melon sized stuff sack, howwever I opted to use a 15 liter dry bag to preserve the loft and better conform to my pack.Overall I think this is a great introduction for people to UL quilts.
