I liked this mat a lot; the only thing I've liked as much that I've tried is my old Thermarest Deluxe LE which I think is 26 oz, almost 3x the weight of this pad (10.5 oz on my scale). The fabric is a bit slippery, but I didn't seem to slip off much (outside tubes are a bit bigger, maybe that's why). The pillow (Exped) did slip, however; I may need to work on that. The pad works quite well for a side sleeper like me, and even though I'm 5'8" the 66" length is plenty, since I usually curl up a little when sleeping. At most my feet hang over the edge a bit.

The "cushiness" seems about right when inflated just a little less than full. Unlike the POE Insulmat Thermo Max I got a few years back, which is similar in design, it doesn't feel too hard or end up with my hip bumping the ground (which seemed to be the only 2 options for me on the older pad).

I could feel some reflected warmth on my feet when I had them resting on the pad. I am not sure how warm the pad is overall, since I used a quilt for the first time. I was a little on the cold side but that seemed to be coming from above and not below.

I gave it a 4 rather than five for the slipperiness factor and possible lack of warmth; neither is serious IMO but keep it from being the "perfect" pad.
