If you're big or thrash in the night, this is a good bag for consideration.
The Horse Thief requires an insulated sleeping pad that slips into the sleeve on the back. On the other hand, you could also use it in warmer weather without the pad.
Weighing in at 1.7 lbs (for the long version), the Horse Thief provides significant room inside, 72" at the sholders and 69" at your hips. I really think you could get 2 small people in this bag if you had to. It uses 725 fill, which gives a good balance between weight, rating and price. It has a #8 zipper you can actually find and yank, and it has a reasonably water resistant cover nylon shell. It packs up nicely, and for me, the 35F rating is reasonable, but I wouldn't want to use it without a liner or wearing long underwear in 20 - 30 degree weather.
Relatively light weight for the large size, and a reasonable price, consider this bag if you typically use an insulated pad, or like to toss and turn a lot.

Last year on a trip a buddy of mine had the Big Agnes Horse Thief. It spread out on the tent floor and looked luxurious after 8 miles and 3500 feet elevation gain. So when they went on sale I picked one up and it has yet to disappoint. I sleep on my stomach and have a tendency to kick my knee out. Most sleeping bags are way to small to afford me this luxury. Not the Big Agnes. This dude has room to spare. I'm a big guy and rolling over is always a pain. Not with the Horse Thief. Plus you can just slide your sleeping pad right in the back and so no more sliding around on top of the sleeping pad. Pad stays right under you. Plenty warm, fairly light, good zipper, sturdy construction. Oh, I almost forgot - it has a triangular pillow holder that when filled with my patagonia micro puff makes and excellent pillow. So big enough roll over, light enough to carry, pocket for pad, holder for pillow, all at around 26oz and if bought on sale $125.00. Not too shabby.

Big Agnes Horse Thief is hard to beat for Big Horses that need to sleep.

I am not going to reiterate what was written above as I find most of it to be true.

However I do have one concern regarding this bag. I find the 35* temperature rating to be a little optimistic. I usually sleep warm to very warm. On more than one occasion I found myself uncomfortably cool to cold at 45*. After these occurrences, I bought a new bag and was very comfortable at the same temperatures with the same clothes and pad underneath.
