Very well made item. On the bottom of the pot it says "made in Japan" which from the dimensions, suggests that its an Evernew pot without the pot handles. I'm not sure how long the non-stick surface will last on this pot but I usually boil water, add ingredients, cook in pot-cozy so I'm sure this pot is good for alot of mileage in my kit.

After making a research for a solo set to use on longer trips, I purchased both 1.3 and 0.9 vargo pots. I chose them over the MSR Titan set because of all that details that make them seem perfect: easy pouring, inside volume markers, two lids with holes to let the steam away, and, especially, anti-stick coating. The reality turned out less perfect: anti-stick coating is much less effective then teflon on my MSR Duralite and the whole pots are quite delicate - lifting by any lifter when full causes dents, and after a couple of days in the mountains they were no longer circular, making the lid barely fit. This matters because the lid is supported by a rant on the inside of the pot, and with some strength, it is quite easy to partially force it into the pot by accident. I guess this is a result of weight compromise. Another, and possibly more serious, issue I have is that the base is quite slippery and not very stable when full on my Optimus Crux stove. Overall, I am rather satisfied with it, but just be prepared for gaining that heavy-usage looks quickly - for some this may be even a bonus.

This replaces my ancient and oxidising Sigg aluminium billies, which may be causing me Alzheimer's ....what was I saying?..........

It is beautifully made, and exceptionally light - it hasn't deformed in my pack over 3 weekend trips, although I do pack it with stuff. I predominantly use it for boiling water, so the no scratch surface should last well.

As to the question of whether it is an Evernew pot without the handles, this is rather obvious - on the bottom of mine, above the stamp saying "made in Japan", it says "Evernew, titanium".

I'm overall extremely pleased with mine
