This tent was fantastic for a week long backcountry trip in Glacier NP. We split the tent between two or three of us and the weight and bulk were minimal. The tent had plenty of room for three adult women (all tall) to sleep comfortably even with some gear inside (needed to protect our boots from the marmots and endless rain). We were able to fit our packs under the vestibules.
Set up and take down were fast and easy, especially after a practice run before leaving.
It rained almost every night of the trip, often serious downpours accompanied by strong winds. We could sometimes feel some splashes through the tent mesh, but the inside of the tent stayed dry. The fly, tent, and footprint dried quickly when we stopped during the day. We also found that there was a lot of condensation on the inside of the fly (not the inside of the tent) after all but the driest nights. However, the tent dried so quickly during our lunch breaks or once we set it up at the next site that it wasn't a problem.
The only issue we encountered with the rain and tent design was that when we unzipped the door on the smaller vestibule to get in and out of the tent, it touched the tent mesh, and would at a minimum get the tent body wet, and at worst would drip water into the tent. We couldn't figure out a way to avoid this except except opening the vestibule door as little as possible, which made it tricky to get in and out.
