I had order some tent stakes from goinggear.com that never showed up. I finally emailed them about it and Marshall got back to me right away (all this was on a Sunday). Apparently USPS had somehow screwed up and returned the package. Marshall was very helpful and got the stakes back in the mail and they showed up a few days later.

I wanted to buy my first real high powered LED flashlight. I surfed the web for ages, trying to make sense of which lights were overpriced junk and which were a good deal.

GoingGear.com is the best website I found for narrowing my search of currently available performance flashlights. Their web UI allowed me to easily apply restrictions to price, battery type, battery number, output power, etc. In addition, they include Marshall's personal review and beam shot video with almost every flashlight.

Their inventory is vast; their prices are competitive; and their shipping was free (>$50), fast, and correct.

It also appears that they are building and selling their own cool gear like wooden handled fire steels and fire pistons.

I'm very happy with GoingGear.com.
