Turned on my Coleman Powermax Exponent Xtreme and the knob did nothing. Discovered the valve was stuck and the spline threads on the knob got stripped. Removed the knob, freed the stuck valve, opened everything up and oiled it, then put the knob back on with some shims to tighten it up.
Called Coleman and asked for a new knob and advice on avoiding valve seizure (whether to oil, clean, polish, whatever).
A few days later a brand new valve/knob/hose assembly arrived in the mail.
Doesn't get better than that...
