I wore one of these this winter, sometimes as a base and sometimes as a second layer. It is a very warm shirt, the fabric has a nice texture and tight weave. I have compared it to smartwool products and it seems on par. Minus 33 is much nicer wool than Terramar, and about the same price when it's on sale. Their heavier garments run larger, and they will snug up after a wash. I wore one of these for a month or more between washes, hiking every day, often sleeping in it without washing. I found alternating between a couple of base layers, 3 days each and hang them up in the tent to air them out made washing unnecessary.
