Meals-ready-to-eat come with great spoons, and some food, too. I'm not sure who the manufacturer is or where to find them commercially.

The spoons have a generous length, long to reach the bottom of a Heineken or Fosters cookpot without too much effort. They also have a nice, deep bowl for a better calorie/scoop ratio. You could probably cut your own tines pretty easily if you were so inclined. All that for .3oz, just a bit more than standard length Lexan models.

Complaints? It would be perfect if it were just a little more stiff, and a little less brown. Funky colors would be nice for non-tactical meals.

Doubles as an insulator for expedient field antennas!
They're really durable plastic spoons and pretty hard to break. Since they're brown they're pretty easy to lose though. I guess you're not supposed to see them easily though. :-D
...thinking of the thousands of these I've thrown away!

This spoon is my favorite spoon ever! The length is perfect for eating out of freezer bags without getting your fingers all messy. And the spoon is deap enough to eat soop with. The price is another great feature of the spoon. They are easy to lose but if you paint the tip of the handle blue they are a lot easier to find if you drop it.
