This is not an essential item, but at .6 oz. it's a beautifully designed convenience. It is essentially a soft bucket for hauling water back to camp and storing it for when you need it. Other soft water buckets are available, but I can't imagine one that works better. The sides are pleated into a taped 'mouth' in such a way that it can be set on the ground and allowed to spread without spilling a drop. (I recommend hanging its tape handle from a branch instead.) The design also allows for easy pouring into a small-mouthed container. It folds into a tiny bundle that will fit in an air space anywhere in your smallest pack. I prefer having a source of untreated water in camp, so I can cook with some and treat some for drinking, as needed, and with this clever little item I can keep this creature comfort and still keep my weight to a minimum. With quick delivery, low price, and prompt responses, I give Tin Man an A+!
