I have used a lot of bug sheleters=Golite's large Nest and the Golite Lair 2. I did not like the Nest because creepy crawly ants got in at night, even though I put net under the opening {14.5oz}-NEXT. The Lair 2 has a zipper so I was sealed in my shelter and this worked great for me for 2 hiking seasons. I did the JMT with it {24.5oz}. NEXT- MLD Serenity Shelter, custom made by Mr. Ron- Silnylon, 7ft.by 40in.front by 25in.rear end by 35in. front entrance. I am 6'3 230lbs I wanted something just a little bigger. I have match it with the GG SpinnTwinn. The MLD weighs {10.2oz-291 grams}. Perfection,excellent sowing, detailed craftmenship, with a zipper. I would say Heaven. Highly Recomended!!
