Build qualit and materials are top notch. The Pants weighs 10.6 oz in a medium. It abounds in warmth. Used it in temps. down to 13F while hanging out in camp during a snow storm. Sheds snow with ease.

I'm 5'10" and 165lbs. I ordered the medium based on the BMW's recommedation. The fit is better than the parka but I could have sized down. The waist on my Pro 60 Pants was up to my belly button. These also fit over my softshell pants with no compression in the loft.

The full side zips are nice but the could be knee zips to shed some weight.

Excellent product with minor fit issues.

This past weekend I wore these pants at a boy scout camporee in Louisiana. The temperature remained in the mid-30 degree range with 85% humidity, light winds and intermittent rain. Having lived in both Louisiana and Maine, I get chilled more readily in the damp winter conditions of Louisiana than I did in the drier frigid cold of Maine. Most of my time during the weekend was spent standing or sitting around, watching the boys instead of my more typical, more active backpacking trips. The Cocoon Pro Side Zip pants fit the bill perfectly once I got the right size...they do run large. They are easy to get on and off, repel the rain very well, and are very comfortable. At night under my tarp, I wore them with my Pro 90 quilt and I was completely comfortable. They were just what I wanted and I love 'em.
