These are my second set of trekking poles and definitely my favs. Aluminum 3 section pole with foam grips and wrist leashes. The dual Flick Lock system is a dream to use with winter gloves and holds the poles very securely. If there is a downside it is that they are heavier than other offerings at 19 oz a pair. They are rugged and have lasted 2 years of hard use. I see them last many more seasons and I would buy them again.
