These are Patagoni's warmest glove/mitt.
The weighed app. 4.8 oz. in medium. Synthetic Thermolite insulation with 50%more on top of the hand. Pittards leather palm that wraps over the finger tips. Snot wipe on thumb, zippered gaunlet, and waterproof breathable polyester shell.
The construction externally is impeccable. The fleece lining inside started to pill in under a month. The biggest diappointment is that the could not keep my hands warm to -7F for more than 30 min. even with a Icebreaker merino wool glove liner. Also the zipper was a liability in inclement weather especially compared to a drawcord or strap cinch.
These are good for 5F or warmer with liner and 15-30F without liner.
