I wear these trail runners everyday to work. They have performed well in many different situations from the AT to RMNP with FSO loads of about 35-40lbs for 20+ miles a day without fail. On one trip the were submerged in a puddle, during a storm, that soaked through my shoe. By the morning they were dry. The laces hold well and don't require re-adjustment or retying once they are tied. While the tread isn't super knobby they have provided good purchase in everything including snow.
