Ive used the Myo XP on a lot of night backpacking trips and its three watt LED packs more punch than these one watt or less LED lights. Yes, its a little heavier, but not much. You can reduce the weight by strictly using lithium batteries.

Its powerful, light, compact and gets the job done. For around camp, its overkill. For on trail at night, its perfect.

I owned one of these but had to send it back as the electronics developed a fault - kept flashing. Still preferred it to my Black Diamond Icon headlamp.

But a new 30% brighter & longer battery life Myo will be out shortly.
