Simply put, this is my all-time favorite FD dinner. Over the years I have tried many dinners from the different companies, but have never found anything that I liked better. "Turkey, Asparagus, and Spaghetti in a Flavorful Sauce" the label says. This is real comfort food, simple but good, and it never fails to satisfy. My wife loves it too, and so we keep plenty of it in our pantry lest we have to fight over who gets the last one when we take a trip together.

I gave it a 4 out of 5 only because, like so many other FD meals, this one is simply too high in sodium: 2100mg in a package! I wish Mountain House would start packaging lower-sodium meals, but for now this is what we have.

One tip: be sure to increase the soak time in the bag from the recommended 8-9 minutes to 15-20 minutes, if possible. This can make all the difference between crunchy, cardboard turkey bits and chunks of tender meat.
