I have had this windshirt in Pertex Quantum for around three years of regular use. At 85 grams it is brilliant. Light, windproof, fits well. What more could anyone want in a windshirt? The model I have also has a large mesh front pocket which is great for storing hat, gloves, etc...

I use this jacket year-round and have since I got it back in 2004. It weighs 2.6oz, is very breathable and does a good job of blocking winds up to around 20mph. I wear it over my hiking shirt and it keeps my warm (while hiking) down to the mid-30s. Also works great when layering clothes as it can be worn between items that would otherwise grab at each other.

I also use it here in Tahoe in the winter time over a baselayer when snowshoeing/running in dry weather. I love it.
