I bought this bag to use on the Appalachian Trail. I got it with a PTFE shell and a little extra down. Mine weighs 29 ounces.

I have since used this bag a lot, including my traverse of Alaska in 2006 and in snowy conditions in Wyoming and many other places. I have slept warm in this bag into the teens. As a matter of fact, I can't remember ever getting cold in this bag. Occasionally I used the arm and foot holes around camp. My only criticism of this bag is I wish it had a full length zipper for more ventilation when it's warm. After 7 years of hard use this bag is still in very good condition.

Feathered Friends has a well deserved reputation for making high quality sleeping bags.
