This bag was bought as a replacement for my too warm Apache SMF(2lbs 6 oz 15 deg) bag. The model is rated at 25 deg and I had 2 oz of over fill to it. The total weight on my scale is 2lb 1oz. It is super rooomy and keeps this cold sleeper warm down to freezing with only lightweight undies on.

A nice feature of this bag is that it unzips to lay flat. My wife and I have no probem sharing this bag when used like a blanket in this fashion. It also saved us 2 lbs 6 oz of pack weight on our first attempts to lighten up our packs.

The quality is outstanding. the bag has no hood, but is does have the newer microlite MF shell on it. The bag lofts up fast after being in a stuff sack all day.
