Sealskinz absorb water like a big fat sponge, and weighing them on my scale, they did indeed double in weight when wet. Totally unaceptable, and uncomfortable. Returned to REI.

I had the same experience as Brett. My non-waterproof gloves absorbed less water than these.

WOW never have i brought a product so utterly useless. Bad fit, cold, not waterproof. You really would be better of with a pair that cost $2 from the market.
