I wear both the shirt and the pants when sun and/or bugs are an issue.

They are light, well ventilated and flexible.

Mesh ventilated sleeves on the shirt protects arms from bug and sun. Loose fit and ventilation strips helps to keep you cool.

This shirt doesn't create the body odor that I usually experience with synthetic shirts. This may be because of the loose fit?

The pants are very light and have full length mesh sections that can be zipped closed for cooler weather or open when ventilation is preferred.

I wore the combination on one particular trip during hot weather, spring bug season. I was well covered, but still reasonably cool.
Others who were wearing short sleeves and shorts because of the heat, suffered from lots of bites to the exposed parts.

I was afraid that I would get bites through the mesh but did not experience any.

This combination is also great for desert sun or on water activities.

Because of their light weight and quick drying properties, I even wear them combined with layers on colder backpacking trips.

They are a bit pricey, but good quality.
