I had a lot of questions when ordering from Jacks R Better. They promptly answered 2 emails and I called them. Jack himself answered the phone and descibed everything very clearly. I placed my order and received my quilt within 2 business days. They were fast and very helpful.

I've ordered multiple things from Jack's R Better and each time Jack has worked with me to make me happy.
One experience involved some slight modifications and creative thinking to use one of their products for an un-intended use. Jack said he had to think about what he could do and he would call me back. When he returned my call he had tried several different things and narrowed it down so that I could choose between the 2 or 3 options that he thought would be most appropriate. I ended up with exactly what I needed.

A second experience I had involved planning for a trip that required more quilt that what I had at the time. Jack told me that another was slated to come out several months later that would fill my needs. I told him that I would really like to have that before my trip. He said no problem and had one manufactured well before the time slated for release.

Each time I have dealt with them they have been responsive and knowledgeable. I would recommend them without reservation to anyone. I wish every company operated like they do.

Even before purchasing anything, the Jacks emailed with me numerous times, answering all of my questions clearly and very quickly.

Shipping was also very fast, and all of their products have been outstanding.

I just received my JRB quilts. They were dispatched straight away and got to me here in Australia in a week. There were no hassles with having them sent half way around the world, they were packed safely and arrived in perfect condition.

On first inspection, the quilts look really well made and I'm looking forward to putting them to use in the field (review to follow).

I will add a a more extensive review once i have had some time with it in the field.
The guys at Jack's R Better are the best. After leaving a message my call was returned by one of the Jacks and he was able to take some time to answer my questions and help me select the right quilt for my applications. They also to responded to my emails quickly which is always nice=). I ended up making some additions to my order at the last minute. They were able to make the changes and ship in the same day with no problems! The Jacks R Better team were a pleasure to do buisness and very helpful. I knew what i wanted (No Sniveller) and they agreed ;so it was nice to have that type of support when making a such a vital purchase like a sleep system=) Great service by fellow hikers who are true innovaters in the UL world. Highly Recommend JRB!

Happy user of JRB Mt. Washington Under Quilts. The Jacks are great people to deal with pre and post purchase. Their products function as described and are built to be dependable. They could have built lighter products, but choose to build more affordable, durable quality gear. Reflected by lower cost for a true MADE in the USA product.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am very impressed with Jacks 'R' Better and their service.

1st, they were gracious enough to contribute a quilt to the Continental Divide Trail Alliance charitable auction. I was bidding on a quilt and stopped after a while, I was pretty sure the quilt would be too narrow so I was ok letting it go. I told my wife and she continued bidding, without me knowing because she knew I wanted to try a quilt and she / I won the auction.

I got the quilt very promptly and it was too narrow which was a disappointment because it was high quality and I really liked it. I called one of the Jacks to see what my options were for accessories / modifications to make the quilt usable (with the assumption that I would probably have to sell the quilt and buy one that worked). However I was surprised to find out that Jack would let me exchange the quilt for a larger one that was properly sized. I want to point out that I did not buy the quilt from them, they knew that I won the quilt in the auction (at a pretty discounted price) and they had no responsibility to get me a quilt that worked. BUT they did! Not only that, they offered to exchange my auction quilt for another quilt that had a $5 higher MSRP straight across.

I got my new quilt today and it is awesome!

JRB has earned my loyalty not only because of their quality products but because their service is top notch.

Now I get to play around with a new toy and learn how to use a quilt, thanks JRB!
