Excellent pot - the one I use with an alcohol stove. It's not my first choice with canister stoves, however. It's a short, wide-bottom pot, so it's a bit tippy on the narrow-diameter support provided by most canister-mounted stoves. However, for wider stove bases (like the Clikstand, for alcohol stoves) it works really well. By the way, the Clikstand is designed to store inside the stove, and it does - with a little room left over for the lighter and some tea bags.
It's a little wide to double as a mug (like the Trek 700 or Titan kettle), but I occasionally make a pot of tea and drink from it without any trouble.
I've never had any problems with the insulation burning off the handles - yet. I can see the potential for it happening, though.
The capacity is just right to cook a Lipton rice or noodle pack, and - because it's wider - it's more convenient to eat from this pot than from the deeper pot/mug styles. The pour spout is nice when you're sharing hot water with someone, too.
All in all, a very nice pot if you've got a good, stable stove base.
