I noticed this plastic water bottle in the grocery store a while back. I was looking for something that would fit the narrow side pockets on my pack and yet still hold an adequate amount of water. This bottle does just that. It is a very narrow and tall one liter bottle. As with most bottled water it is cheap, a little over a buck. It also has an easy to remove label allowing for a 'clean' look without much leftover sticky glue. According to Backpacker mag it can, "Turn raging mountain rivers into puddles while defeating mother nature's evil water demons who are coming to get you." HAHAHA

I give this bottle a 5 for PURE ascetics.

These bottles are beautiful. Smooth and delightful! None of the LUMPIES on other bottles.

They are delightful to pack, they slide in nice and smoothly down into yer pack.

Yeah the hole on top isn't that big, but jee-wiz, they are beautiful.

I started using these bottles in the late summer and I love them. I now have 3, 2x 1L and 1x 0.6L version. Two of them fit perfectly into the side pocket of my golite jam, or one slides perfectly down the side of my golite ion on lower weight hikes.

I have adapted mine a little by:
1) removing the lids and replacing them with the "tagged" orange lids from evernew bladders - this makes them easier to handle when you are filling up from a stream of whatever - no need to juggle little plastic lids.
2) removing the smart water labels and cleaning them up with goo gone.
3) adding a simple hydration tube setup (perfect match with the evernew system).

These simple add-ons have created a usable flexible hydration/water system at about half the weight of any commercially available hydration system.
