Jacket in size large, regular length, weighs 15.9 oz. Fit is roomy, probably could have done with a medium even though I normally wear large, but I wanted room for layers underneath. The jacket is very light and compressible for the amount of warmth it provides. The loft is more than the Patagonia Down Sweater, but less than the Patagonia Down Jacket. Shell fabric lets very litte down leak out. I am very satisfied with this jacket.

Other details: has 2 microfleece lined handwarmer pockets, 1 outside chest pocket, and 1 interior chest pocket (stuffs into it's own pocket). Also has 1 stretchy mesh pocket inside. The collar is lined with microfleece.

Warm while walking below 10 degree farenheit. Zips into North Face shell, not Patagonia, Mountain Hadware Phanotm or Marmots, not even the NF Summit series would. Green color is nice. 5'-9" 200 lbs stocky, XL fits well after not being able to source a L.
Will report back after 7+ hr sits in 20-30 deg hunting, layered correctly.
Time will tell but first impression is good and unconditional warranty speaks for itself. Down leakage is minimal. Not having that much experience with down I would say that this verbiage "High-lofting Bean Tested®; 850-fill down insulation is exceptionally lighter than our 650-fill down insulations, yet every bit as warm." is there for a reason, because IMO it is more of a 700 down fill weight, but has exceptional warmth:weight and ideal for 99% of conditions when coupled with approptiate shell.

I returned the L tall I had ordered, as the sleeves were too short.

I ended up with a Montbell in XL which had longer sleeves and was no more baggy than the L tall LL Bean.
