I have used the Nunatak Alpinist mummy bag 16 nights so far in 2009 and I have never been so comfortable sleeping. I ordered a large with a 64 inch shoulder and 40 inch foot box at 6'6 length..I am 6'3 235. 5 out of those 16 nights were very cold-2 very cold nights near Truckee were record lows in July. I also spent three very cold and windy nights in Humphreys Basin ...This bag is SUPERIOR compared to other bags..It has a center zip which I unzip if to warm and just use it like a quilt or just zip it up if to cold..The center zip gives you the best of both worlds. You can use it like a quilt(warm) or Mummy-Up(cold). The material(shell) is Pertex Quantum .8 Black and I had 4oz of overfill..For the size of the bag(large) it came it at 31oz...I was told it would come it at 26oz or 28oz... Bottom line: The bag is a 5+!!! Very pricey and worth it!!!
