Not sure customer service even exists. They don't answer my emails and never pick up the phone. Don't take my word for it, try it yourserlf. The customer service # is 1-800-538-3604 and the posted hours are M-F 10-7 Sat 10-6 Sun 12-5.

Long story short, I bought a Gregory Whitney (way before my SUL days) from e-OMC. It had a piece of the rear support missing. After a lot of prompting, they replaced the pack.

The new pack creaked incessantly and they told me they already replaced a pack once and would not touch it.

Read my Gregory review for a continuation of the story. I will NEVER buy another piece of gear from this store.

I ordered a pair of pants and a pair of montrail shoes. they arrived very quickly. the shoes didn't fell good and the pants were too big. I returned the shoes and exchanged the pants with no problems.

I've just had the most difficult experience trying to deal with customer service at e-omc and trying to exchange an item. There seems to be constant confusion on their end and no one seems to know whats going on. trying to get anything answered is next to impossible. Eventually I actually opted to cancel my order as opposed to dealing with them any longer. If you buy anything from e-omc, I hope you wont need to return/exchange it.

After searching high and low for a Patagonia R1 jacket on sale I finally found one, on this site. $40 off, not too bad all. They received my payment, shipped the jacket from Oregon to my house in Jacksonville, FL in less than a week.

Can't speak about their customer service, as I never even had to call them.
I'm happy.

Bought a pair of shoes from them (Montrail Mountain Masochists) and got them quickly, as advertised, for a good price.

Ordered an Integral Designs Siltarp which leaked terribly out of the box (not misted, leaked). Sent it back to return it and did not hear a peep for several weeks. Called and the gentleman in the returns department was extremely curt and rude with me. I was informed that it had been sent back to Integral Designs as a "warranty" claim, when I had requested a straight return. Apparently 3 minutes of applying water with a hose makes a tarp "used," news to me. Hopefully I'll get my money back without having to dispute the charges w/ the credit card company.

So much for customer service. Customer is always right? Nah!

Not a recommended vendor unless you're 100% never going to return what you purchase.

Terrible company that will not allow defective products to be returned, or get a refund.

Do not do business with this scam company. They will rip you off, and there is little you can do about. Support honest merchants by shopping with real companies.

Wow surprised to see the negative reviews of E-OMC. I know OMC recently began moving to more of an online focus, maybe they haven't dialed in their customer service online yet. I have had nothing but good experiences with these guys. It has been convenient for me to see their selection on their webpage and then head to the shop to compare items before buying. Their prices are good, staff are knowledgeable, and great selection.

This is one place I always check for gear, super fast delivery along with a good price. I've never had an issue returning items that I've bought over the Internet.

Have placed 16 orders with these guys internationally (Australia) for over 50 products and ever single item was correct and every package was sent on time - fantastic success rate. In total I've spent well over $10,000 USD with these guys and very happy with service and price. Hopefully there gear and service get me to the top of Everest next year ;) Keep it up EOMC. Sam
