This cool little cookset is just perfect for my solo trips. "The lightest , most stable, wind resistant, and efficient cooking system you can buy." says the Trail Designs website, and I don't think that's an exagerration. I pair it with the Gram Cracker Esbit burner and a Caldera Caddy for a truly compact and verstile fuel efficient solution.

Foster's beer can with 6 gram Foster's lid, cozy with lid, cone, stove, and 6 grams of heavy, durable reflective foil for under stove (I think it helps it heat) weighs 104 grams, 3 5/8 oz on my scale. Boils or close enough for freezer bag/cozy cooking of 16 oz of water on only a tablespoon/15 ml of fuel. Note the low fuel use for a fair sized amount of water. Weight is without spoon, fire starter, fuel and bottle. Cone almost fits in can, stove fits in exposed end of cone, cozy travels on can to make a small, somewhat protected package. Use your bandana to grab the hot pot, then tilt the cone base to pour. No pot grabber needed. Well worth the weight for two hot freezer bag meals a day.
