The LIM55 is a good pack with a claimed weight of 1075G - on my scales it tips in at 1092. The pack has aluminium 6005 - T6 bar as a frame with perforated foam for comfort and padding on the back. It is a wide but not thick hip belt - this width helps spread the load on to the hips as the design is so that weight effectively transfers to the hipbelt. The hipbelt has mesh pockets on them and these are excellent and easy to get items out of.
There is size adjustment on the back length by a Velcro adjustment. The shoulder straps are low profile in design and great.
The pack has no lid and is a rolltop closure. The pack has a large woven stretchy front stash pocket and two similar side pockets. All of these are superb and the stretchy woven side pockets have a cutout on the sides which allowed a water bottle to be placed in them with ease. There are many lashing points and good compression straps.
One other notable design feature is the integrated side wings which Haglofs claim prevent the pack collapsing under heavy loads. The fabric is a denier polyamide on the main body with a stronger base fabric. It has the standard PU-coating to improve waterproofing.
In using this pack in the hills it was hard to fault it. I have put a more detailed view of this pack on my blog.
