The PossumDown Beanie is here! This hat is made from the same fabulous high-loft possum fur and merino wool knit of our PossumDown Gloves.

Application

PossumDown is lightweight and has excellent loft, exceeding the loft of other natural fiber materials. Average thickness exceeds 100 weight fleece, and is just shy of R2 "Regulator" double-pile fleece. As a winter softshell hat, the PossumDown Beanie excels, offering better breathability than tightly knit fleece, better moisture transport (keeps you drier on the inside) than stretchwoven nylon softshell fabrics, and great weather resistance in both rainy and snowy conditions.
